    ACT Prep Course

    Who: Juniors and Seniors

    Where: At our tutor center in downtown Whitefish: 525 Railway St. #204

    What: ACT prep for the April test at Montana High Schools

    When:

    • Saturday, Feb. 14
      • 8:15-12:15p: Practice Test #1 with essay
    • Saturday, Feb. 21
      • 9-10:30a: Math
      • 10:30a-12p: English/Reading/Writing
    • Saturday, Feb. 28
      • 9-12p: Math
    • Saturday, March 7
      • 9-12p: English/Reading/Writing
    • Saturday, March 14
      • 8:30-12:15p: Science and presentation by our college advisor
    • Saturday, March 21
      • 8:15-12p: Practice Test #2 (no essay)

    Cost: $675

    Includes:

    • 12 hours of subject-specific content instruction/test-taking strategies from certified teachers
    • 2 full-length practice tests/scored
    • ACT study guide
    • "Setting the Stage for Senior Year" information session by experienced college consultant

    APUSH/AP World History Prep Registration

    • Two course lengths divided by semester
    • Semester 1: Aug 31 - Jan 21 (1 session/week for 18 weeks)  &  Semester 2: January 25- April 29 (1 session/week for 13 weeks, with 5 additional AP test prep specific sessions)  No meetings on school holidays
    • Structure: Focus is primarily on content through teaching and notes (writing skills, discussion and analysis of information and critical thinking based on content learned that week-seminar style). Semester 2 will add in prep for the May AP exam.
    • Goal: build foundational college ready skills and strengthen content knowledge for the AP history classes, and max individual score on the AP exam in May
    • Taught by a 30 year veteran teacher in the subject, Mrs. Jacque
    • Cost: Semester 1: $990/student    Semester 2: $990/student
    • 3 student minimum to run the course
    • When: Wednesdays, 2:45-3:45p
    • Course held at our Whitefish tutor center or Kalispell tutor center (depending on enrollment).
